Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum exploded for 36 points, including a pivotal 10 in overtime, to guide his team to a thrilling 133-128 victory over the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on ESPN on May 21, 2024.

The Celtics found themselves trailing for much of the game after the Pacers built a significant 30-point lead in the first half. However, Jaylen Brown's clutch three-pointer with 61 seconds remaining in regulation tied the score and sent the contest into overtime.

In overtime, Tatum took over, scoring the first five points and setting the tone for the Celtics' victory. Indiana's Tyrese Haliburton finished the game with 33 points, but his efforts were not enough to overcome the Celtics' late surge.
